Seeking Director, Debit Products |
Looking for a dedicated Debit Product Manager with robust industry experience
Duties and Responsibilities:
** Manage the entire bank debit product category from strategic planning to tactical activities: mission, goals, metrics, sales, etc.
** Enhance the debit issuing processing solution and work with internal teams to launch this new initiative successfully (primarily Development, Implementation, Customer Service, Operations, Legal/Compliance)
** Develop and implement an updated go-to-market plan, including product requirements, positioning, and pricing
** Serve as the primary business management and sales contact for debit business
** Meet growth/revenue objectives through selling Galileo’s bank debit issuing processing services to new clients
** Identify new prospects, build and develop relationships with existing prospects, leverage existing contacts, find innovative solutions and new product applications for prospects and clients
** Close new business by partnering closely with prospects and responding to RFPs, etc.
** Work closely with internal teams to develop new features/functionality and position products/services for success
Qualifications:
** Minimum 10 years experience as an executive with significant experience in the payments industry, preferably in the debit/credit and payments processing space
** Knowledge of the debit/credit industry required – key players, economics, legal/regulatory landscape, value chain, latest technology, etc.
** A history of meeting and exceeding sales goals, closing large deals, taking business away from competition
** A self starter and highly disciplined in time management and meeting deadlines; a skilled multi-tasker, able to work on a large number of deals at different stages of the sales cycle
** Experienced in developing a strategic sales plan and identifying the resources necessary to close business, finding creative solutions for complex clients requirements
** Experienced in competitive research analysis to provide feedback for senior management regarding any changes in product offerings necessary in order to maintain and increase market share
** Excellent written and verbal communication skills
** Strong quantitative data analysis and critical thinking skills
** Bachelor’s degree; MBA a strong plus
